January 6th, 2007

Sad day for Steeler fans.

Reporter Magazine

October 6th, 2006

I was recently featured in my local campus Magazine The Reporter. It’s always nice to get some more coverage and Ralph the photographer for the article was fun to shoot with. Overall I was pretty happy with the way the story came out. I’ve got a local copy of the article saved here.

I also just got picked up by the multi-gaming orginzation 50 Calibre to play in their Quake division. There is a story about it over on GotFrag.

GGL Interview

August 21st, 2006

Mahmood over at the GGL website did an interview with me.

Getting around

August 10th, 2006

Well the news about my big win continues to circulate. I got to see my relatives last weekend, which was nice. Everyone was very happy to learn of my success.

This morning I learned that there was a story on Digg about my victory. Very cool. A woman from the Wall Street Journal called me last night to double check some facts for a story they’re publishing. I’m looking forward to that one.

I just noticed that the same article made it’s way to Esreality. It makes me happy to see it there, since it was the website where I learned about the tournament. Nice to see things come full circle.

You now have to register to post comments on my website. I know you’re all heartbroken but I was getting pretty sick of the spam so it needed to be done. Check back soon, I’m gonna try to improve the site some more this month.

I'm in the Erie Times, again

July 31st, 2006

The Erie Times did another article on me now that I’m a big winner. The article seems ok, but they said I won with a video game controler which just made me roll my eyes. It’s ok though, the interview was just last night so I’m sure they didn’t have much time to look into things before it got to press. I still think I like the first article better though.

Quick update

July 30th, 2006

As some of you may know, I won the Verizon Fiosgrand Tounament for 100k. I just got back from LA and there’s a lot I need to catch up on. I’m gonna try to update the site this week with some quality updates and some more details so check back soon.

I made it onto Yahoo Business

July 24th, 2006

check it out

I've been slackin on the updates

July 19th, 2006

Things have been pretty busy this summer and I haven’t had much time to dedicate to the site. I think at some point in the future I will try to divide this site into two seperate sites, one personal and one professional.

The Heat bring the heat, finally

June 14th, 2006

It took a heroic preformance from Dywane Wade last night for the Heat to win their first game of the NBA finals. Shaq looked good early on, but started to fizzle towards the second half. While he didn’t have the monster night that many were expecting, he did manage to nail two key free throws near the end of regulation. Shaq and Wade weren’t the only contributors however. Gary Payton hit a clutch 2 to put the Heat up by 2 with 9.3 seconds remaining in the game.

It was nice to see the Heat finally come alive in the playoffs. In the begining of the 4th quarter you could just sense that the game was slipping away, and that the Heat were going to go down 3-0. The Heat players must have sensed it too however, because they responded.

The next game is Thursday night.

Big Ben Hurt

June 13th, 2006

Roethlisberger's BikeSteelers fans were shocked yesterday after learning that Ben Roethlisberger was hurt in a motorcycle accident. Ben is currently listed as being in serious but stable condition at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.

According to reports, Roethlisberger suffered a 9″ laceration on the back of his head, a broken jaw, a fractured left sinus cavity, lost or chipped a number of teeth, and injured both knees when hitting the ground. There seems to be some debate as to the severity of the knee injuries that Roethlisberger sustained. As a Steeler fan, I know that the knee injuries have the potential to hamper or even ruin Roethlisberger’s career. I can only hope that they’re minor as some reports suggest.
